I've finally got around to finish listening to it. He's looking to leave Panathinaikos in next few days if he gets an offer and he's turned down an offer from Ben Mansford's club in Isreal. He wants to come back to England and said the next move will be one more about what makes him happy than what's best for him as such. Said he's never been back to visit Barnsley as leaving was too painful. Spoke about his charity in Barnsley he set up before leaving and wanting to do more with that if/when he's back in England as it means a lot to him. Answered a few questions about the circumstances of him leaving and told some funny stories from his time here. Recommend listening to it if you have ifollow, he always did speak well.

Would take him back in a heart beat. If we can get Townsend gone permanently then he'd be great for competition to Davies, Problem would be 1: Wages? Would we be able to afford them? And 2: WOuld he want to be a backup keeper who will push for start? I'd get guessing he'd come back but with Davies being a great number 1 i don't see him playing much

I love him, in a platonic way. What a great servant he was for us!

Aye, sign him up. Could turn into a great GK coach, maybe for the Academy if not the 1st team. He's got the experience.

Really good interview, still seems to have a big place for Barnsley in his heart despite the ridiculous period where he was dropped for Flitcroft's mate and then told he was too old for more than a one year contract on less money.

I would welcome him back even if it was just to see the calendar report on the unexplained earthquake in hemsworth

Great interview, sounds to me like it still stings a bit. Doesn't sound like he would come back to Barnsley though. I can see him signing for another Championship club.

I'd completely forgotten about that. Incredibly weird time, I seem to recall a lot of the players we either signed or were linked with had the same agent as Flitcroft and Hill. The same thing then happened at Bury and Rochdale after both left Oakwell. Strange.

Gordon Greer, Brighton's star defender, being heavily linked when we were bottom of the league was one of them. Summat not reyt going on with that lot I reckon.

Seriously hope not! Looks like City are letting a lot out on loan. Reckon they are trying to balance the wage bill after a few big signings.
