Comes across as a really decent and humble lad. Sounds like he genuinely wanted to be playing for BFC, and didn't see it as some sort of punishment. A world away from the likes of Deon Burton. I really hope he gets his career properly back on track after an horrendous couple of years.
I agree. It wasnt until I read that I realized just what a bad time he had endured. No wonder he wasnt quite match fit the first couple of games he played for us, though you could never fault his committment and he soon got it back. I wish him well and hope he can make it back into the England team. Lets face it if Jordan Henderson is currently first choice he should be in with a decent chance
That's some journey he has been on. Good on him and those at Leicester that stuck by him. Be nice to see him get in the England set-up and knowing that Barnsley FC played a role in his impressive come-back.
