Anyone know when they go on sale? There already on sale to their lot. It's apparently a cat C game and tickets for home fans start at £31. Wonder how much they're charging us.
Theirs was a category B game though. It will be £36 for a category C, the same as a non-member on the Kop.
And they took over 4k so for that reason it will keep happening I'm not paying those prices though no thanks
This is the problem. A couple of thousand will go to Leeds and Wednesday regardless of the price. It's half as many as what we'd take if it was a reasonable price, but enough to perpetuate the policy. No principles some people.
I just refuse to pay that much for a football match. Especially when the money goes to Sheffield Wednesday
But apart from right at the back of the North stand you actually have a nice view. Hillsborough is in a terrible state and the away end is awful.
Just spent the thick end of £50 on tickets for me and my lad. Probably wouldn't have paid that for a match anywhere else but we live round the corner from Swillsboro. Plus if (when) we win it will be worth every penny to watch the reactions of the home crowd....
I've just done the same. Because of the cost of two adults and bus seats we have to pick and choose which away matches we go to. Pain and pleasure principal I think, and when our winning goal goes in, it'll be worth it!
So Wednesday charge £36 and spend it all (plus more) on the team, we charge it and stuff it under the mattress. I won't be going though.
It will be 36 quid and more as long as people keep paying that to go. We will probably only have a couple thousand there, barely half of what we'd take at reasonable prices, but not few enough to make a statement. Same when we go to Leeds.
Wednesday - definitely not because I never go (well, not since the Glavin days anyway) Leeds - reluctantly not. Where I live now it is just down the road but I am not going there this season. Last year it was a thoroughly unpleasant experience and I'm not repeating it.
