Nowt much to say, but not for the first time he sounded downbeat to say the least about the current uncertainty.
In a nutshell - he heard the rumours about the collapse before media did, stated that Conway was here on Saturday so that's put those rumours to bed, he wants it sorted so he knows what he's got transfer money, new contracts etc. Same old same old
He might also want it sorted asap due to the obvious uncertainty regarding any manager's position post takeover, even more so in this case with PH just purchasing a lovely property off Keresforth Road, or so I hear.
Article in the Yorkshire Post would support the suggestion that Hecky is becoming very frustrated regarding the ongoing speculation. I bet he fed up of constantly being asked if he knows anything further. http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spor...keover-for-frustrated-barnsley-boss-1-8814288
It's just not fair on Hecky and his staff, the players and the supporters I know there's a lot of happy clappers on this site but surely even they are getting a bit browned off with this takeover it's getting worse than Brexit if someone told me David Davies was negotiating this takeover I'd definitely believe them.
Just concentrate on the football side of things ... Hecky has no control over what is going on above his head. Let's get the 3 points on Saturday
I listened to his interview & all he did was answer loaded questions by the radio sheffield interviewer in his normal thoughtful manner & to be honest I got the impression that he is more fed up with the same questions from the press about the take over, which he obviously is unable to give an answer to , so he is going over the same old ground & getting fed up with it
A simple update from God? Can he just tell us how it all began and what happens in the end. That will put our minds at ease.
I utterly despair sometimes on here. How many times do some people have to have things explained to them?
Probably hoping he becomes our manager, gets more money and can sign players based on ability instead of our ageist transfer policy. When the takeover gets done watch us make our first signing someone in their 30s and the official site in the article getting a comment from Hecky and refering to him as manager instead of head coach.
I think you are completely missing the point of the transfer policy we have in place. We copied the policy from Mr beane. I think the policy will stay the same the only thing which will change is the funds may increase like for instance we could go in for the likes of Madison at peterbourgh and may end up breaking our transfer record that hasn't changed since we signed hiristov. Don't expect us to go all Wednesday and throw tens of millions on one striker though.
I wouldn't say we've copied the Moneyball method at all. Beane and his staff/mentor's method didn't look to sign players under the age of 25, develop them and sell them on for a profit. We're using statistics and spreadsheets, but so is everyone else.
His job, presumably. Let's assess his abilities to communicate after the takeover is sorted one way or another. At the moment I would imagine........he's not allowed to comment.
