I'd be on the phone to Chelsea sharpish and get Ugbo sent back.

Agreed. Not our job to find out if he's good enough.

You're agreeing with a post saying send Ugbo back and saying that it isn't our job to see if Ugbo is good enough.

How do we know whether either of the other two are good enough?

I wouldn't mind if either had played, scored and done well in our first team but until then its premature to send Ugbo back in my opinion.

Exactly. What would be the benefit of sending Ugbo back. Of others come in and actually stake a claim then maybe.

I certainly wouldn't be sending Ugbo back but must admit my first thought on seeing Brown was fit again was that he looks to have more about him than Ugbo and I'd like to see him given a chance.

I've only really seen him in pre season but I thought he was excellent. Positive with the ball, a strong runner and very good technique. Be great to see a quality striker come through the ranks as there haven't been many in the last 20 years.

Absolute ******. Have you got raisins for eyes? He is a raw talent, one of the best young strikers we've had on loan in my memory and if you can't see it you won' even cringe when he's playing regular at a Premier league club in the not too distant.

Can't get my breath sometimes at how fukng wrong people can be.

We aren't there each and every day on the training ground like PH and the others are but unless memory fails wasn't Brown behind Bradshaw and Ugbo and maybe vying with Payne prior to his injury? Ugbo hasn't set the world on fire like Abraham did at Bristol City but I've seen him tirelessly work his socks off for no reward on numerous occasions. There's also the fact that in a 4-5-1 you've got strikers like Ugbo and Thiam appearing predominantly from the bench and been thrust into a game with limited time/opportunity to make an impact.

If Brown or the other lad (whose name escapes me) plays well at U23 level and make the move into the first team squad then that's the time to judge them, not now when neither has as at the minute people are judging their U23/Youth record against what Ugbo is doing in our first team. Look at Ugbo's Youth record, it's phenomenal.

We've had this before with folk calling for Digby, Rose, Clark and Cowgill to play.

From what I've seen so far Ugbo is struggling to meet the physical demands of tbe championship bit given he is probably costing us very little and clearly has some talent its worth persevering to see of he cam match physical application to talent

I'd rather try and find out if our own players good enough than do the donkey work for another club. The only way we will end up signing Ugbo permanently is if he isn't good enough and I'd rather not waste a season trying to find out.

Don't think Ugbo suits playing as a 1 up front he was really poor at Burton when he started Bradshaw did more in 20 minutes than Ugbo did all game. Hopefully now we have 2 strikers in reserves on his heals he may up his workrate

Oh okay then Conan, let's send Barnes and Williams back as well then as there's no chance of us signing those two either.

N.B. We can find out if Brown and Ade are good enough without jumping the gun and sending Ugbo back.

If our own players are not being picked, they’re not considered good enough. There’s nothing more to be said about it.

I'm sorry but this isn't true factually and the opinion I don't agree with.

Lets take the facts. He's played in a 4231 before he joined Barnsley. The 2 upfront isn't something he will be used to. Chelsea don't play this because Conte's got a football brain with a few brain cells. They play the 4231 or 343 which is played maybe only by the first team.

Secondly. He caused problems at Burton. I was there. He caused problems all night leading to a goal. Bradshaw didn't. No goals, no assists nothing. Take the other games. Watch them back on Ifollow if you want. He caused John Terry a lot of problems. Maybe should have scored. Bradshaw did nothing against Villa.

Did you make the trip to the national stadium for the cup game? If so you would have seen him cause one of the best defenders in the prem. Out strength him in the half. Should have scored.

He's getting the chances through his own hard work and maybe not taking them. he's not had the tap in chances of Bradshaw put on a plate with a knife and folk. How many he scored from 15 yards out plus?

When we signed Barnes and Williams conan wasn't impressed.... no experience ect ect. Ade seems a good talent scored at every level je has played at and still only 19. I agree with jimmy crickets post as regards ugbo

    What a stupid idea.

So that’d leave us with 2 first team strikers in Bradshaw & Thiam, one who still needs to adapt to England & 2 novices who no one knows whether they’re anywhere near ready or not.

Imagine if we got an injury to Bradshaw. We’d be screwed.

I’m not a fan of Ugbo from what I’ve seen so far but sending him backs a ridiculous idea especially before we can sign another striker in January

Thankfully Conan will understand the real meaning of "no chance" when it comes to his suggestion of sending Ugbo back.

There's no doubt Bradshaw has proved to be far more effective in the lone striker role than Ugbo. The goals record says that. Ugbo has struggled a bit physically but is still learning and getting better. He has shown moments of pure class: against Tottenham he showed a sublime bit of skill to get past a PL defender, and did well to create a chance for himself right at the beginning of the 2nd half. After that game, fans were saying he was more effective than Bradshaw.

My main issue with him is how he's wasted so many chances, but I always say it's better for a striker to be getting into goalscoring positions and not taking chances rather than not getting any at all. Against Villa he had 2 clear chances. We were 0-3 down, but could've been a more exciting game if he'd taken them.

Do I think Bradshaw should start every game? Yes. Should we give up on Ugbo? Absolutely not
