    Incredible. If he had fulfilled his potential he would have been the best player on the planet. Just loved the fags, booze and old ladies too much.

    Played for the most successful and dominant club of his generation. Won multiple league titles, fa cup league cup champions league Europa league medals. Broke goal scoring records for both club and country.

    Could it just be that some people, the press included had completely unrealistic expectations of what his potential was.
