In fairness you do look like an emaciated heroin user.

I've got asthma and had it since childhood. I played all sports to school first team level, football to regional level and water polo to national championship level in my youth. But I wouldn't have done any of that without an inhaler. In fact when it was bad I wouldn't have got off the settee. Sometimes you need to take it more, sometimes less.

Unfortunately it's a sad consequence of how the previous generation of cyclists abused the support that Froome falls under suspicion for taking something which is pretty vital for living for an asthmatic. If your asthma is bad you need to take your inhaler more.

As an aside my asthma has been almost completely controlled since I changed to a combined powder inhaler. Definitely worth asking your doctor if you're still on the old aerosol ones.

Unfortunately, due to the history of the sport (Armstrong in particular) it will take many many years to lose the image of the drugged up cyclist. As well as the drugs, cheating has been rife, one team built a small electric motor and batteries into the frame to drive the cranks, not sufficient to move the bike on its own but enough to give an extra 1%.

It's very common, 8% of the population, so that's about 5 million people in the UK.

Froome became the first cyclist since Pantani in 1998 to win 2 grand tours back to back. The same Pantani that was doped full of EPO. There’s a reason it isn’t really possible.

I wanted to believe in Froome & Sky mainly because if they are cheating then to me it raises questions about the other British cyclists on the team & the track cycling team who operate or did operate out of the same headquarters.

I think there’s too much dirt now, Wiggins allergies always flaring up so he ‘needs’ an injection just before he starts grand tours even when the races are at different times of the year. Froome going from donkey to racehorse & taking a backdated TUE to win a race where he was that ill he apparently needed a TUE & then there was the ‘accidental’ delivery of testosterone patches to Team Sky’s headquarters. That’s not to mention the laughable Jiffy bag case.

The Sports Personality of the Year awards this year are an absolute joke.

3 of the big favourites are Froome (see above), Farah (Doorbell, Salazar, whereabouts) & Joshua who’s managed to put on almost 2 stone of pure muscle since turning pro despite doing a mainly cardio sport & won’t sign up to Vada.

On top of this the Tyson Fury case proves that UKAD is a joke with no funding.

British sports cheats across the board clearly exist it’s just they are much further ahead of the curve than the Russians.

Unfortunately I think motor Doping is rife. A few examples of where it seems very likely are Cancellara winning two classic races in 2011, Froome on the Ventoux in 2013 & there’s a bizarre video of Froome’s team mate Wout Poels gliding ride the inside of a sharp hairpin bend at the recent Vuelta.

Lots of rumours about Valverde before he injured his knee in the tour this year as well. Lots of strange climbing speeds & clips of him riding away from others at age 37

Bicycles have been dismantled by the UCI almost on the finishing line of a race and nothing has been found. Average speeds have also fallen in the last ten years or so.

They haven’t. The check for motors is laughable. They flash an iPad across the bikes that can allegedly detect the motor but it’s been pulled apart & mocked by experts.

They need to start dismantling the bikes.

They’ve only done that on rare occasions that someone is suspected.

Average speeds may have fallen slightly but current climbing times are very similar to what they were during the EPO era.

Froome, Contador & Woods in the recent Vuelta set the record time up a climb in which known dopers had been up numerous times during the late 90’s & early 2000’s

Perhaps you could explain who they are and how they do it, if it's clear.

Are you calling Froome a cheat by the way?

You are my favourite. Have I called Froome a cheat? Just pointed out that it’s a coincidence both he and Bradley Wiggins had asthma when only 8% of the population.

There are plenty of investigations for you to peruse and draw your own conclusions if you so wish. Or you can just accept everything as read.
