Been keeping an eye on young talent recently. Thought this guy would be a good prospect but I've just read that he's due to sign for Preston on January 1st.

This is a major problem we have. Plays like this are going to be snapped up already by the time we have any idea what we have available, wether from Patrick or new investors.
If the take over isn't complete by January I honestly think we're in trouble. I can't see much investment coming from PC. Hopefully we have got cash available if the take over hasn't gone through....

I'd rather have Ted (only joking, couldn't resist).

You don't know if we have deals lined up to be fair.

I am not being disrespectful to Preston , but if Mr Moult was such hot property , then teams higher up the food chain would be snapping him up . I feel sure Hecky will have his targets & plans for january choose who is pulling the strings on the ownership front but we will have to wait & see . One thing for certain, if we have not signed three or more players by the time old lang syne has been sung, then the keyboard warriors will be in meltdown

Christian Doidge at Forest Green Rovers is also worth a look. Must be a pal of Pinnock, I would think. I had a look at him before this season and his record is good and even better in a poor side this time around. Big, bustling striker, good in the air, makes chances and scoring freely often from crumbs. Just think what he could if he came here and we started feeding him on proper meat! Worth keeping an eye on and FGR will want to raise some cash in January to try to keep their league status.

Moult was just an example to be honest.
Iv just been keeping an eye out at lower league etc to have an idea whats about but I'm just hoping we have our plans in place. I'm also hoping that's not the hold up with contact talks etc.....

I take it you’ve not read Hecky’s comments on the Chronicle?

I suppose he could be a newspaper warrior

I'm sure we were linked with him in the summer.

I stuck it out there as I thought I was 'in the know'. I obviously wasn't.
