    No ‘we’ aren’t. The owners collective wealth may eclipse that but they have numerous other business interests including another football club significantly bigger than ours at the moment.

    Don’t get too excited. We are all relieved it’s gone through and that we have solvent new owners before we lose Pat.

    But billionaire or not I don’t see them doing a wolves style cash splash. I imagine it will be a tad more subtle and sustainable.

    As long as they get a half decent striker in next month that’ll be a start!!

    The owners wealth may have little bearing on the amount they are prepared to invest, let’s keep our feet on the ground and not get all “massive” just yet.

    Ok then our owners are.

    I am not expecting massive spends as though our owners are technically wealthier than the Fowls, they earn more per annum than us as a club and with FFP rules you can only lose a maximum of 13 million per season. We wont be able to spend as much as they can nor as much as other bigger clubs in this league despite our new owners wealth.

    Just need to hope for a few good signings that can help keep us up this year and then push on next season

    I remember when the Leeds fans were giving it the dirty Leeds filthy rich when their GFH takeover went through. Unfortunately for them, they ended up with the only Arabs to have no money.
