One thing about Nixon - he gives you names and facts. They might be b@llax but at least he tries and doesn't start his column in the Sun with the words: ......... 'I know something you don't know - and I'm not going to tell you about it'.
Nixon clearly has a source close to the club whether it be an agent or whoever else. To be perfectly honest, he’s more right than he is wrong when it comes to our club and at the end of the day he’s a journalist and it’s his job to report on information that he’s given. Nixon also called Kieffer Moore quite a few weeks ago, prior to anyone else as far as I can see. Even with a source there’s still unknown variables that can scupper a deal and result in someone calling something that’s ultimately incorrect. I really don’t understand the animosity towards him, he’s just a guy doing his job.
He's very often wrong, but he doesn't retweet those smugly saying "aye". I think he does have sources but quite often wings it from internet rumours. The fact he blocks absolutely anyone that doesn't approach him with a weird amount of respect is very odd, too. Think blocking dissenters helps keep his perceived hit rate up. Also he works for the s*n so is a lovely person.
I like his gossip. I’d say he is wrong 80 percent of the time and right about 20 percent. Still enjoyable though anyone employed by the Sun is questionable.

Seems like Heckys used as a smoke screen while said clubs get on with there bussiness of negpiating contracts with Manager they want. Other factor is hes valued in the football community as bieng a Good Manager or he would not get brought into the media show that exists when new managets are appointed.

The thing is, things change. He's obviously got good contacts around the club and just because he reports something & it doesn't happen it doesn't mean that it wasn't an option. I've been told by lads who should know that Sunderland & Forest were interested in Hecky. He didn't go, mint, but that doesn't mean that it shouldn't be reported there was a chance he might. If folk want 'facts' then they should ignore any speculation and wait for stuff to be announced. The internet has made everyone black & white when the world is properly f.cking grey.
