He’s there until may. Plenty of time to break in.

Still got to earn his place like we’d want when we sign a loan player.

    What for Tyrone?

He has been the worst of our acquisitions so far.

Now there may be a reason for this - a lack of confidence and/or a need to get up to speed. (OK that's two reasons)

Bringing him back would cure nothing. He's presently a blonde Digby without even the attempted vision.

Gave away the free kick that led to Doncasters 96th minute equaliser . I bet he was popular in the changing room .

We wid well signing defenders in the summer. Very well.

Midfield was a stupid spree, that may still have a small profit in the medium / long term.

Striker wise, jury is out on Thiam, but he is improving.

Thiam is improving and popular cos he's a trier and God loves triers . Problem is he doesn't score which unfortunately is part of a strikers remit .

I don't think it helps Thiam when he's probably played his best two games of the season at home to reading then away to Sunderland and then he's put back on the bench for the next few games.

Match sharpness is all important at the top of the field so swapping and changing him out of the team won't help him.

I would like to see him start with Moore at the weekend and then get 4 or 5 games to see if they can build a partnership.

No better than Moncur, McGeehan or Potts..
If we want to improve then we need better than all these players..

Out of interest , when we are needing goals , would you not offer our leading goalscorer the opportunity to form a partnership with Moore & give them 4 or 5 matches as he is the only proven championship striker we currently have & of course I mean Bradshaw

Based on what?.. the reality of his previous record would strongly suggest otherwise

I think Moore and Thiam looks a better option as they are both different types of striker that can play off of each other.

Its 'll a matter of opinion though and I'm sure if Bradshaw is given a run he can do a good job as well. I can't knock Bradshaw for the effort he puts in but he doesn't hold it up as well or link play with midfield very well.

Swapping it every week though is not working so I want hecky to pick 2 and stick with them so they can learn to play together and see if we can't get some goals.

Agree, he seems to make huge strides forward then gets chucked back on the bench. Needs a run of starts, IMO.

Thiam is a shot machine rather than a goal machine . I suppose if you throw enough darts , one day you'll hit the bullseye .

    We can’t recall him.

Only recalls now are for season long loans during January window. Half season loans can’t be cancelled. The old loan system is no longer in place. In the league there are only half and full season loans. Only ‘emergency loans’ as they were known would be for goalkeepers if you have none fit/available. A full season loan can be cancelled in the mid season window, I think it has to be mutually agreeable. I think we can all agree it was best for Ugbo to go back.

I wouldn’t recall McGeehan anyway. He’s not ready to play in this team. He wouldn’t have played even against Villa when we were short of numbers.

He might not have started at scunny up to now but he has a much better chance of games there than here.

Plus if he can’t get in their side, he has no business being here.

If he knuckles down, gets into their team and has a run of games, we might have a much better player for August, especially after a full preseason as well. If not, and he’s not fancied, the games for them could get him in the shop window and might give him some resale value at least.
