Derby County, Norwich City, Barnsley and Sunderland are battling it out to sign highly-rated West Bromwich Albion midfielder Sam Field on loan.

What sort of midfielders is he? Interesting Sunderland are linked with almost everyone despite the fact they’re reported to have no money

According to transfermarkt he is a Central midfielder that can play Left midfield or CDM so maybe a box to box type?

Great to be in competition with ‘the likes of’ Derby, Norwich, Sunderland etc, rather than Peterborough, Bradford and Scunny :)

I mean in another thread, we're said to be in competition with Marseille & Lazio (and Bristol City), so in comparison, who are Derby, Norwich and Sunderland really?
