    Stoke aren’t going to let him go, injury or ban to Butland he’s next in line. Second choice in the prem is a better proposition than first choice for us too unfortunately.

    To be fair I watched Nick Townsend in an U23 game against Millwall earlier in the season. He had an absolute blinder, and appeared very commanding on crosses. He certainly looked ready for me, but I do realise it's impossible to judge on 1 game. I'd give him a chance - if he can't get a game now he'll never get one.
