Must admit, whenever they are on telly now I try and watch it.

No, I'm not about to jump ship, before anyone asks or suggests.

When we went there in the cup, I was in awe of how good they were, and how easily they brushed us aside.

It's just really special football that they're playing. Everyone it good on the ball and composed and they just patiently strangle teams until they find an opening.

I think Warnock will probably say something similar at full time.

That's what a billion pounds of unearned oil money gets you.

I'm sure they are amazing, but it's no achievement to squash teams with about a tenth of their budget. They won the fossil-fuels lottery, and I can't wish them well.

Yep. They look great but ultimately it's all from oil money and there's little achievement in it so who cares. Their fans clearly don't much as they either don't show up or can barely be bothered to cheer a goal (see their second goal today).

Seen them twice now , simply the best side I've ever seen live , the pace they move the ball is un real.

Really not interested in whether their fans cheer or talking about oil money.

I'm simply talking about football, and players individual ability, and regardless of everything else, they are top notch to watch.

The money arguments boring. There’s always going to be clubs with more money.

They’re a pleasure to watch. I watch Barnsley for love but when I watch City & other football games it’s because I want to be entertained & they do that.

You can spend money & be boring. United’s done that the last 5 years & Chelsea’s done it many times since Abramovich came in.

And of course it’s still an achievement, they’re at least competing on a level playing field with United & Chelsea

I agree. There’s a lot of tip tappy teams that seem to pass it around for the sake of it and, in my opinion, gets a bit boring but not City, they play with so much pace and precision. I love watching them.

When they hammered us in the FA cup a few years ago, their fans were going crazy at every goal scored. I just don't understand how their fans can muster up the enthusiasm when playing against much smaller team like ours, teams they should win 9/10.

They are a pleasure to watch and the primary reason is because they have the greatest coach in the history of the game - club or international level. He revolutionised the world game when at Barcelona and all his teams are an absolute joy to watch. Contrast with that dreadful rubbish down the road. All his teams have been awful to watch. It’s not lost on me that a team with the historical approach to playing the game that MU have (love them or hate them) appointed Mr Anti-football, while their neighbours got the genius.

First team I’ve been interested to watch consistently in the premier league since the man united team of Ronaldo tevez and rooney. Astounding team and plenty more with nigh on unlimited funds don’t come close. Look how much man united have spent and they are turgid to watch.

They're playing for a manager who allows them freedom to play, without fear of public criticism if they make errors and this shows in their play. They are like the Barcelona side he built in many respects. In my time I thought the Arsenal side of Vieira, Petit, Henry etc played the best football I've seen, but their defence was arguably "typically British non-nonsense stuff". This City side have players all over the pitch who can play.

Just denied Cardiff the ball for a full three minutes. Theyre a great side.
Pilkington on for Cardiff. Nearly scored with his first touch. Worth a punt IMO.

I have to agree they’re brilliant to watch, on another level to anything else at the minute.

They're a delight to watch, and the scary thing is they're currently doing it with only one striker who's only 80% fit himself and could upgrade at least three of the first XI in Delph, Stonesy and Fernandinho.

I'm happy for the fans who stuck with them even at their very lowest. Crowds of 30k every week in the 3rd division, and Jesus Christ what a ground Maine Road was. One of my favourite ever football grounds that. Remember having to play the young kids in the housing estate to keep your car safe? Haha you'd be walking back to your car and you'd see a car or 2 with the windows smashed. They hadn't paid I take it?

As a football fan, got to say it was a pleasure to watch them play today. Their pace and movement was exceptional.
And, Kevin de Bruyne (particularly first half) - wow.
