If we got the rumoured players over the line and kept what we've got?

    Knasmuller
    Mills
    Lad from Lens

Could add Fletcher to that list I suppose but think it's a long shot that one.

Its all about gelling and getting players integrated and playing within a couple of games for me because it's a big couple of months playing teams around us.

I know it was a disappointing end on Saturday but that first half gave me real hope we can get enough points on the board.

Yiadom is absolutely key for me.
Then there’s Izzy, pinnock and Williams to come back in with Mallan very slowly starting to have a creative influence.
Add this to what should have been 4 draws and a win in the last 6 league games and we should be able to make a decent fist of the next months games against fellow strugglers.
Oh and we’re not in the bottom 3 so it’s still in our hands

I think we will stop up... Big job to do in the summer though if we're to move forward.

It would be good if we could secure Gardner, or Williams on a permanent switch - doesn't look on the cards, though. Mahoney really impressed me in his Blackburn shift at the end of last season. Stand-out performance away at Nottingham Forest. Pity we did not land him earlier in his Blackburn career. Biggest disappointment for me has been McGeehan. A Luton pal says he was their best player and I had thought that he would be coming good at this point in this season and starting to control the midfield, as well as scoring goals. Instead, he is bench-warming at Scunny - well, he did start on Saturday, but much good it did them. A goalie would be good -plenty around and at minimal cost. I like the profile of Knasmullner - attacking midfielder with a good record of scoring. If the guy from Lens arrives as cover for the defensive midfield, that could be ok. We still lack a touch of experience and class in key areas, though. Maybe these midfield signings will provide it. We also need key players to get fit again, or stay fit. We have a good record when Isgrove has played. Pinnock was one who really was showing the expected promise at this stage of the season. We will need all these players to come into best form if we are to stay in the Championship.

I think we really need to sign one more striker and a goalkeeper then I would be satisfied with what we have got

I agree with that but it's looking like we are looking to bring in both a defensive and attacking midfield player from Europe.... Risky by the look of it with them not having played in the league before but both look to be well thought of where they play currently.

We do look a striker short as well when you look at our options so hopefully we can get someone in.

We need a keeper ahead of anything else now.
