    Just hope we dont have a clause that says he has to play because I am not convinced both him and Gardner work too well together - especially if we want to play 4-4-2
    Our last 3 (or maybe 4) goals have come from Mallan assists and there is no room for him if we play both

    I think you are getting things a bit mixed up - like quite a few on here.

    To reiterate - players are brought in to be part of the squad. It is then up to the manager to choose players from that squad to play in the team.
    A decent sized squad enables the manager to choose various options that will enable him to beat the opposition.
    Players are NOT brought in just to fill the eleven places in the first team.

    It is sensible, yet completely irrelevant. Farnham was referring to the 'Kent Clause' that states that Williams would have to play a certain number of games.

    We didn't win many with him in either. Glad to have him back and hope we go back in for him in the summer, with a second bid.

    Ha ha very true we havnt won many all season but still the last few games we have missed him, I hope we go in for a second bid but doubt it will happen if not we desperately need a CDM on a permanent deal !!

    Unless the loan play has a clause in his loan contact that says he has to play a certain percentage of games, like Kent had. In that case you are wrong.

    I think only Liverpool have use the clause. if s player goes out on loan from Liverpool klopp insists they play 75% of all matches. otherwise the loaning club must pay a small fee
