fickle? or just stupid???

Do you know what I don't understand, a section of supporters and some of my friends have been calling for heckys head. Been criticising his signings and also his management skills. But these same people change their tune cos we are been linked with players that most of us have never even heard of I.e knassmulner, ephestion.

I suppose the point im trying to make is, do any of you think hecky has even heard of any of these? how much input does he actually have in transfer targets? primarily hecky is a coach. and these targets have all been seen by the "data analysists" it's heckys job to coach them and get the best out of a group of players who have had little playing time and no championship experience. basically, people need to stop criticising hecky because I believe 80% of the recruitment is not what he ideally wants/asks for. so all these doubters and people knocking him, stop getting excited about potential players you've never heard of cos the only guy the doubters will blame if they don't perform is hecky. but I believe we will make the right choices. we are playing some good football since he's played 2 up top and we just need a bit of luck. let's not get too carried away with new arrivals coming in and let's not criticise our gaffer either. you reds

 

Hecky said last week he picks the players he wants.He also said that if the club offered him a player he didn't want he would tell them not to waste the clubs money as he wouldn't play them.

 

but he's only the "head coach" and not manager. I don't think he would come out and say anything different to be honest. he's probably given a list from data analysts. and all this about him having a multi lingual coach to help with translation. I'm sure he didn't ask for that either. I'm a big fan of heckys and to me I just don't think bringing these lads over from France are his idea. the board want to internatonalise the club. not hecky.

 

How would he know other than watching on Youtube etc how good or otherwise these foreign lads are? I suspect he won’t have personally scouted them. Genuine question.

 

You can only judge on what Hecky says.He said the lad Manzella had improved this season.That says to me he was more than aware of the player and more than likely he had watched him.

 

what this squad needs is something in the mould of Matty James. we need experienced heads coming in to help the younger lads. fetching young French lads over with little experience in terms of age and the league is very risky.

hecky won't have watched him. it will be the computer whizz kids who have tracked his stats.

I'm not saying we could get him haha. I'm saying someone in the same mould. that's why id sell Angus and get an experienced head in on loan for 6 month and use the MacDonald fee for an experienced players wage

 

for example, we could sell MacDonald and we could have tried for someone like Tommy elphick

 

Did he specifically say he had watched him?

 

Lets judge Hecky on the 90 minutes and the tactics therein, if he gets the formation and plan wrong on the pitch then he should be questioned. On the Fulham game, the players clearly knew to close the split centre backs down on the goalie re-starts and it worked really well, we didn't let them get the ball over the half way line without huge pressure and were cruising at 1-0. All credit to Hecky for the formation and selection, the plan was perfect until old silly bllcks got himself sent off (still waiting for an apology - Hecky needs to sort THAT out.).

 

agreed mate. but he's gone public saying he's blasted him for it. and he made the right substitute at half time and leaving Moore up front as a target man. mallan and moncur were doubling up at times. we looked comfortable up to that pillock pushing and shoving. we've played this formation for 1 and half matches now and we have looked more effective. and with these games coming up in Feb I think we are getting ready to give someone a hiding. to say results haven't been great but we need that 1 good win to give us that confidence. and I can see it coming

He said that he had improved this season that says to me that he was aware of the player last season.Don't forget what Paul said,he says who we sign not what others put in front of him.Before I get accused of being on Heckys case I'd like to say i'm a massive fan of his but if you take responsibility for the good times the same will happen if things don't go so well.

 

we need a manager not a coach ,someone to stand up for himself and the team .....has anyone seen hecky shout or get mad at the team I sit behind the dugout and all hecky does is watch the game .Has anyone ever sean any passion
