The comment to @Darfield-Red didn’t require any clarification. It was obvious to anyone in the context of the thread that my comment referred to player recruitment.

You’ve sought to take the thread in a different direction and bring Patrick into it in an attempt to drag both myself and the board down to your level.

Utterly disagree (respect your opinion but that’s mine). We were poor today and I’m as gutted as the rest but I genuinely believe that Hecky is the man for this club. I will absolutely take consistency over a different manager who has come to the club for money/own career development.

I love having Hecky as head coach and I want him to stay with us and succeed. We were unlucky today that a single 25 yard shot went in and undid us. We can't always blame bad luck and we need to see some wins and points on the board.

 

I thought a draw would have been a fair result today. We weren't awful, just toothless as usual.

 

Which was the 1 defeat in 8 games regime before this bad run. If we can replicate that, things will look healthier.

Obviously if the current bottom 3 lose every game we don’t have to pick up a point. If just one or two of them picks up some form we have to as well. Not sure I know what’s going to happen. It was just my opinion. I hope I’m wrong and we need less than 50 points this year.
