Not a chance. Young, upcoming players will have the same type of manager, cheap to hire & willing to take on the ‘plan’ & all that has to offer. Monk wouldn’t even entertain talking to us. We all know it’ll be a long drawn out process, it’s what we do & that’s the biggest worry with our most important 4 games of the season coming up.
Funny you say that. I heard a Simon Jordan interview, yes I know not always the best judge but he assessed a few mangers, good point bad points etc. When it came to Monk he said abruptly 'No good' and followed it with a quick dismissal of him as a manager. Now a know he's the tangerine man but the way he responded was so different when compared to his other comments it was surprising.
