Or his agent yet. Really hope that doesn't stay like that or he will be in for a world of abuse. Surley he owes that much to the fans who have largely been with him since day one?
Not really interested in what he's got to say at this point, to be honest. I also doubt there's anything he could put out there which will make a difference to anybody's opinion, no matter which side of the discussion they're on.
I think that would make it worse to be honest. It would be full of the usual ******** and we wouldn't know which bits to believe and which to laugh at. I loved him and wanted him to stay but he's a nobody now. Time to move on.
I'd like to know what has happened but.... as all we would get would be spin, half truths and downright lies, reluctantly i agree there is no point in any statement.
The last time i saw One of our own Heckingbottom he was wanting to fight a few Reds fans in the West Stand cos he getting a bit of grief after a 1 win in 15 run of games. Speaks volumes really, he can get ready at Leeds!!
Really? What could he possibly say? There are a lot of people feeling angry, betrayed, let down, lied to....call it what you want. Personally the last thing I want to hear is some crafted statement. It would mean **** all to me. Actually would probably make me feel even angrier. The only statement that could even start to make any difference to me, would be one which told us some behind the scenes stuff we didn't know. That's not gonna happen. If I was in his shoes it would be head down, mouth shut.
He came, he did his best, he fecked off. I care about Barnsley, not Hecky's reasoning. Let him get on with his new job.
That's a very good point. Today's events are already showing signs of pulling us all together. We all support Barnsley FC despite our differences. Now's maybe the time to stop bickering with each other and back the players for the rest of the season and see what happens. We can start fighting each other again in the summer. For now, we've got a job to do.
