If the pundits, commentators, journalists and others got their way and the massive clubs (sleeping giants)all played where they should be, how many premier league teams would there be? Currently there’s the 20 and then apparently it should include forest, Wednesday, Villa, wolves, Leeds, Sunderland, etc. So do you then start including Plymouth and Portsmouth etc based on gates, Forest and Leeds based on them having success that only half of their fans can remember or Wednesday because they’ve more fans than allah?
Six. There's only Liverpool, arsenal, City, United, Chelski and Spurs that can conceivably win it and they're the only ones sky are really interested in. Stop relegation and shunt em off into endless super sundays til they all die of boredom.
Leeds friend sent a screenshot of their next 6 games bragging that Hecky would win them all from the Sky website and 5 of their next 6 games are on Sky. Are Man United even on that much?
Another reason for Hecky to jump ship. All that extra Sky coverage will make him a household name. He'll probably have his own aftershave range out by Xmas - "Eau de Bottom".
If they keep moaning about players being knackered there will be 10 teams with a winter, spring and autumn break.
Of those, both City and Chelsea have spent time in the old Division 2 or lower in the last 20-30 years, and both are only where they are due to rich backers. What is to stop the "Royal Family of Timbuktu" from buying another club and throwing 3-500 million at them?
Mebbe so fella, but I cant see that been written int history books along side their achievement, Wiki then yes I could.
