In preparation for today’s game. Was done by the head coach of an overseas team. A job well done. Should see him make the full time switch to Oakwell soon.
All well and good but maybe he just got lucky. He needs to invest some time reading this forum to know that Williams and Gardner can’t play together and Mallan needs to start.
If we are going for the team we played today then there is room for both.... If we change formation though we might have to drop one of em for someone more attack minded.
I doubt his role includes picking the team. Much of the analysis is done on the team you’re against rather than your own players.
Well if the input of anyone coaching a team abroad is something we rely upon to set up for a championship game then that seems farcical to me. What does "performance analysis" mean? Can't we rely on our own staff to work out team and tactics for playing Brum? Did this head coach tell us how to set up in the first half against Burton?
Heckingbottom took Alex Bailey to Leeds. You don’t appear to understand what a performance analyst does. A report is compiled and all information is fed back to the Head Coach.
He’s obviously on the cusp of joining the Reds if he’s being asked to do anything at all. I appreciate it’s non-standard but when PH left he took our assistant, head of sports science and our performance analyst so we’ve had a complete overhaul and are still to replace Bailey. I imagine that it’s all hands on deck at the moment with everyone doing all they can to contribute and if that means utilising the expertise of someone who’s working their notice or whatever else then that’s fine by me. Fair play to all concerned today as we were set up perfectly from the first minute to the last.
Well how does he know about the foibles of each and every player and system played in the Championship? If it's so computable you wouldn't need someone from abroad working it out. Cryne junior could do that.
