Morning all what a glorious day!

I have just been on a long 5am walk to collect daffodils for a flower arranging competition I am entering later at Cliff Railways in Hastings.

What a wonderful team performance on saturday; I stopped over at a tremendous lodge in Nuneaton where we had locally sourced egg, bacon and sausages before the match. A win really lifts ones spirits!

I hope everyone has a great day.

    George Spicer.

I trust the local source was Waitrose, George.

5 a.m. walk eh, collecting daffodils eh, still dark then isn't it.
So you're nicking flowers from people's gardens, eh.

Please tell me you have never ran through a field of wheat though. Nicking a few daffs is forgivable.

Morning George - you must have better weather than here in West Surrey then. There is nice blanket of snow on the ground in my garden and the daffodils aren't out yet. I have some lovely snow drops though just under my hedge. There are also some snow drops in the verge just outside my drive and there will be daffodils but not for another week or 2.
Its still really cold and well below freezing even now. I decided it was a porridge for breakfast morning, made even better by the fact we still had some Waitrose Single Cream left over from the meal we had with some friends yesterday.

Bad form George old boy! I am surprised that someone of your obvious breeding should not know that whilst it is fine to appreciate nature's wonders, you should leave them in situ for others to enjoy. Whilst some, unlike you, fail to appreciate the flora and fauna that surrounds us, many do so imagine how, if everyone passing picked just a handful, the countryside would very soon be devoid of the marvellous spectacle that nature provides free.
