"The pitch is one of the factors that will determine whether the game can go ahead or not."

I really dont expect any problems with the pitch itself - unless the undersoil heating is broken

But they should make a decision today and stick to it - passing the pitch fit then calling off tomorrow lunchtime due to icy surrounding areas would be really dumb. So I hope its not just a pitch inspection but a full Safety committee assesment as well

Well the car park is been cleared n gritted now , so I don’t think they would’ve done this if they didn’t want to play

I hope SYP are taking into consideration that where I live 50 miles away it is deep in snow, icy underfoot and I haven't cleared or started my car in days.
If they really cared then they'd call it off NOW.... just for my sake. **** the surrounding streets near Oakwell. I can't get off my drive !

If they are gritting the car park then maybe there’s a chance of it going ahead . I also noticed that on the Norwich web site they are reporting that their box office and shop are open as normal today so conditions must be improving down there as well.

I personally hope we can get it on, let’s keep the momentum building.

There's no point having undersoil heating these days 'cos they call it off for other reasons every time. We've had more games called off since we had undersoil heating installed than we ever did before we had it! Never understand why games are off for the surrounding areas being icy - it's a personal choice surely whether you choose to attend or not, like someone else has said, they don't shut the town centre down or all the retail parks for 'icy surrounding areas' do they?

Doesn’t look like they’ve had the undersoil heating on much does it - still looks frozen other than under the grow lights in the goalmouth

I hope it’s on, I can’t get to midweek games due to work.

Self employed contractor in finance, dont even get paid hols.

If it’s off it’s another midweek game my season ticket is wasted on; it’ll still have been worth getting it but I have missed a few games
