Nick Townsend’s comments in the Star

I think he has a right to be annoyed given the various promises made to him RE game time, and the first couple of games he looked okay.

But:

“It’s been interesting since [new manager] José Morais come in, I’ll say that. “The lads have just got to stick together because we need to get results. He certainly gets his point across differently than other managers I’ve had. “

That’s not on. I may, as an employee, think my boss is crap, but I certainly won’t be ringing up my clients and telling them about it.

I also potentially think it’s a bit disrespectful to Davies to think that now he’s made mistakes he’s automatically back up keeper and to Walton who lets face it can’t be far away from getting a start at this rate

 

Shouldnt even be on the bench for rest of the season..... Hes stole a wage for last couple of years and then comes out with this in the middle of a relegation dogfight! Anybody would think hes been like buffon when hes got his chances..... He hasnt hes been gash.... Next
