Had a nightmare he just goes thru the motions , he doesn't stop crosses , he doesn't advance beyond the half way line. He'll probably pick up a takeaway on the way home in his Range Rover sport and forget all about it .
Of the other options in that position, I still think hes better than both Pinnilos & Pearson. Thats not saying much though is it.
Zeki is the worst defender at club, cant cross, can't tackle, cant pass, cant shoot, can't head,and is scared of the ball. The only decent thing he has going is pace.
Opposing teams aren't daft they'll expose our weakness at left back. It's obvious Fryers isn't good enough an pinnilos can't be arsed. Yiadom at left back and McCarthy at right back .
He is awful tbf one of the worst defensive full backs I’ve ever seen though occasionally decent going forwards. But the manager picks him when we have other options.
This is what annoys me. Regularly turns down the chance to play what should be simple 5 yard passes to a central midfielder because he’s more comfortable playing it to Lindsay with his left foot & putting him under pressure
And yet both their goals came from moves down our right and there was me thinking Fryers was playing left back.
Fryers poor today but he’s rarely at fault for a goal. Again today the goals come from mistakes of others. He’s the best left back we’ve got after Yids so he has to play.
