The club has issued an apology and has condemned themfabs behaviour, promised to conduct a full investigation and take action against those responsible and has offered any support it can to Man city. You're right, that is quite classy. Other clubs would have defended their fans and dine the bare minimum to avoid sanctions
Do you deliberately look for the controversial stance just for effect ST? The point was ( as I suspect you well know) is that the scousers are regularly putting themselves up to Sally faultless and ignoring countless examples to the contrary
More than one London based club. West ham Fan's smashed windows on the man utd bus a couple of years ago. The west ham chairman denied that it had happened (despite TV evidence) and then blamed manchester united for driving to the game when fans were around instead of going in the afternoon when it was quiet.
"Attacked" aye with a feather duster. https://www.manchestereveningnews.c...ews/man-city-liverpool-coach-anfield-14493069
A few went over the top & they deserve condemning but blaming ‘scousers’ when it’s only a tiny minority & half the fans that go to watch the big clubs aren’t locals is stretching it a bit. Love the whole atmosphere & singing in the streets backing their team. Certain it had an effect just like it did against Juve under Benitez when they blew them away in the quarters a few years back. Can’t even begin to imagine the buzz of seeing your team batter City like that with a two legged semi final against Real, Barca or Bayern to come.
actually my fault, meant the club not the city, got to admit to bias like, been to Anfield 3 times over the years each time seen first hand, top end threatening behaviour and violence as experienced at so called 'notorious' grounds, know loads of fans from other clubs who have experienced the same over a lot of years but somehow they hang onto their reputation as fkin 'loveable' great fans.Honestly don't know how they do it, must have a great PR machine.
Only had positive experiences with Liverpool & Everton fans. Was sat in the Kop with some when we won 1-0 in the premiership season. All clubs has some sh!thead fans, we are no exception.
Can't wait for the Second Leg. Look out for City & Scum fans "united" in their passionate stoning of the Liverpool Team Bus!
