Brilliant from the club. Fair play. Lets get a full away end down there for what could still be a vital game.

Has this been extended to the other supporters clubs like on occasions in the past?

Think there is some kind of refund mentioned for fans who originally travelled on official coaches unless I have misread it

I didn't go, didn't want to go, nor did I buy a bus ticket, but do you think they'd redirect the free bus round to pick me up from our house near Lincoln as a gesture of goodwill?

It’s a brilliant gesture from the club, one that they certainly didn’t have to do. Lets hope that we’re still in with a shout of survival by the time the game comes around. The away end should be absolutely packed!

You are spot on, but I will have a little wager that someone will find fault with this gesture

Got to applaud the club for that one!

Nice gesture by the club, but I'm confused as to why they will happily help fill an opponents ground with barnsley fans, but price out the 'occasional attender' from going to oakwell. Do they want the support or not?

What an incredibly odd way to look at it. I really do despair with our “fans” at times.

Match day ticket pricing is a issue no doubt. But doesn't in any way detract from this being a great gesture especially for our regular away supporters.

It's £36 for non-season ticket holders tomorrow. How many non-season ticket holders do you think that is going to attract? The fact that we are playing a local rival won't make a blind bit of difference.

Because the club have made the decision from a financial point. Better to fleece the away fans than gamble on extra home fans coming.
It's sad that is how it is, but that's the reason.

That’s completely irrelevant in terms of this particular decision. It’s a decision that should be applauded but instead it’s being used as stick to beat the club with.

If you have an issue with the matchday pricing then that’s fine but in fairness it has been shown time and time again that reducing matchday ticket prices does not have a significant impact upon attendances.

Was very embarrassing explaining to my university friends that are making the game a reunion it would be £36. Half of them support premier league clubs home and away and don't pay that.
