team gets and misses 2 injury time penners, wolves gaffa offers to shake his hand at ft and warnock, top of his voice shouts FU-CK OFF a real class act he is ;-)
Then says he doesn't want to see the Wolves manager cause he's got no class. You couldn't make it up. Haha.
yeah, he was sat in the dug-out last week crying his eyes out when his beloved blunts conceded in injury time
Me too. And however the incident that upset him had played out and whether Warnock was right to be upset like that, the Wolves boss did see fit to offer his personal apology and has apparently upset the Boro boss in similar fashion recently. My understanding, without seeing any footage, is that he was too busy celebrating with his bench to remember to shake Warnock's hand at the end so Warnock walked away with t'monk on. Wolves boss then realised his mistake and ran after him but by this stage he wasn't in the mood! I can understand Warnock being annoyed. Its difficult to imagine how you keep calm and remember your manners after an ending like that though. Must have been amazing to witness it as a fan. Remember when we had excitment like that? No, me neither.
Your synopsis is spot on, but 'wasn't in the mood' could be the understatement of the year so far! Count the **** offs.
Ha ha! Guess my blood would be pumping and I'd be a tad upset as well though if my team had just missed 2 penalties. Mental finish. Surprised he didn't have a heat attack. He is 69. Still wish he was our manager.
I understand his emotion at the end of the game. It's in his interview, after he's had time to reflect, where he really gives himself away. After telling everyone and everything within spitting distance to '**** off' and having that transmitted to millions around the world, he proceeds to tell us all that it's the opposition manager who is a disgrace with no class. http://www.skysports.com/watch/vide...ip/11319931/warnock-santos-actions-a-disgrace Meanwhile, they guy accused of having no class, who has just been told to '**** off'... http://www.skysports.com/watch/vide...pionship/11319923/santo-apologises-to-warnock Warnock is a great football manager, particularly at this level. I find him a very difficult bloke to like though.
Totally understand. Although I can't help but like the guy myself. However, still wish he was here. You don't have to like the manager. You just want him to win. *hope you're getting back on track after last weekend btw
in the week we loose on of footballs true gents in Ray Wilkins we see the petulance of the modern era from someone who always deflects his own misgivings by blaming everyone else. Disgraceful behaviour
