....... the Blunts match was all ticket. And I didn’t know it was foooking £38 to get in. This has never happened to me before. I was extremely flabbergasted to say the least. So £38 ....... that’s THIRTY EIGHT POUNDS to get into the match. A mate of mine with me - who has just moved up from London was phoning his mates down there to ask how much it was to get into Fulham’s ground. More expensive to watch Barnsley apparently. That can’t be reight. If I’d have known that I wouldn’t have fooking gone to the match. Instead I queued 30 minutes to get a ticket - yes that’s right THIRTY foooking MINUTES to get a foooking ticket. Us stood in the queue outside the ticket office were constantly having to dodge the tumble weed blowing down the car park. And when we got into the ticket office we were treated to over earring cosy little chats with ticket office staff and people in front us pontificating over what a delightful time they were having. Just sell the bleeding tickets !!! Then throw the bleeders out !!! So missed the first fooking 25 minutes of the foooking match. Un ..... foooking ....... believable But all in all - best £38 I’ve spent in a long time. Glad I went.
One of my biggest irritants in life is people who sell things in shops taking all ******* day about it because oooh, how's your husband? Is your child any better? Did you see Strictly? What about this? What about that? Serve them. Move them the **** on. Tesco, in particular, are absolute vvankers for this. I self-serve where possible, but it isn't always possible. Get on with it. You knobs.
Yep, and you can Nick some rayt booty. My lads nearly filled his World Cup sticker album at a total cost of £1.50. Plus gin at 18p a bottle as it weighs the same as sparkling water. God bless the self service checkout. God bless Eric Bristow's checkout. And God bless getting totally ballaxt on a Sunday coz you've booked Monday off.
There's one flaw in your little tale, Nudge. SHEFFIELD UNITED Barnsley host local rivals, the Blades on Saturday 7th April for a 12:15pm kick off. This is a Category A* fixture. This is an all ticket game and there will be no sales on the day of the game. Tickets are only available to supporters with a previous checkable booking history.
We got caught out. Having season tickets we never bother to check if it's all ticket, but my son doesn't have one this year as he's mostly at uni. Luckily he has history and got one on the day.
Big shame that as much as a third of the crowd wasn't there to support us. We'd had 3 home wins all season and where in the relegation zone. 36 quid wasn't going to get many people paying it. Matchday pricing has to be one of the main problems that needs sorting for next season.
So it is possible for people to pay £38 to watch our games. I was told in no uncertain terms by several people a few weeks ago that you couldn't pay on the day for any of our Category A* games.
Well spotted. My dad knows him and he has a season ticket in the lower West Stand. He leaves early every game. We can see him as we sit bang opposite. He missed the winner on Saturday so that might be why he's a bit miffed at the moment.
