It was great to look round to see nobody booing our players for once. Everyone was too busy singing to bring anybody down.

I see they tried to get 3 little birds going again.

For some reason, they speed up as they're singing it so it kills it.

We do that with every song, especially any that involves clapping. Songs sound much more powerful and louder when they are sang slowly.

    I agree.

And the thing is, many people complain about the atmosphere, but why do the people who start songs, only sing them twice through. By the time people in other stands have joined in, the song has ended and the atmosphere goes quiet again.

I must admit, I've never understood why so many people in Barnsley can't keep a constant beat going. It's really not that hard. For 25 years, the beat has had to drop in Timerider for many to get back in time.

Maybe the Barnsley players should start a forum and criticise the fans singing efforts during a game ;-)

If speed and lack of endurance in singing is matched in other areas.... Barnsley women must be more Bitter than the old Brewery stand!
