I don’t think Wright’s the best but he’s certainly the most likeable which is strange as I used to think he was a bit of an idiot & unprofessional 5-10 years ago, warmed to him over the years.

I think Carragher & Neville are the best, Henry’s probably the worst.

BT is awful, McManaman is awful, he couldn't even work out that the man city dis allowed goal should have stood because it came off a Liverpool player.

I like Ian Wright, the worst is Kevin Campbell. His analysis on the Europa league highlights show is just horrendous.

Peter Beagrie - always spoke highly of us during his time. It was refreshing to hear - especially when others referred to us as ‘little old Barnsley’ etc.

Bizarre court case with his girlfriend though. They’re both appealing the outcome. She’s either just as bad as him, or been talked into it.....

Not technically a pundit, more host but Jeff Stelling... Wouldn't be same programme without his energy.

I know David Pleat was a rather dull commentator but at least he gave deeper insights into the tactics being used and you could actually learn something from him.

Why don't the commentators of today do that?

Think us poor plebs wouldn't understand? Or do they not understand themselves? That might be the case as if they did they would be in management themselves.
