I'm not going to read it. I've gotten to the point where I don't believe a word he says, so its pointless digesting anything further from him.
It just sounded a bit bitter and too full of emotion. I'd have expected a more formal statement from a multi-million pound company.
True, these days you'd expect something really formal and "professional", but in a way I'm glad that Barnsley hasn't completely gone down that route just yet. Modern professional football seems to be all about business, so it's refreshing to see some emotion every now and then.
Does Heckys comments, now even after the dust settled sound bitter and emotional and worthy of words from a professional manager of another club? The club was right to be surprised given he chose to sign a contract days before.
As I've said before, the soul has gone from our club. We are now 'Barnsley FC Franchise Limited'. A cheap lottery ticket for some very rich people.
Are we going to have to put up with him next year when we play Bradford? Two predictions in one sentence, how bout that?
I really don't give a ****. All I want is for us to take the 3 points on Saturday. Then we move on to Forest.
Do you honestly think that Chien Lee and co, the ones you name as “very rich people” are that desperate for the £100 million or so promotion to the Premier League would give them or the few million here and there they’d get from selling assets? That statement about being a franchise FC is bonkers. You’ve no idea what you want. You said the former owner should spend more, now you’re off on some notion the club has “no soul” because it’s no longer owned by people FRUM TARN.
So he's basically saying that he outgrew the club like Conor or Alfie. He's literally taking the piss he jumped before he was pushed and to insinuate that there was stuff going on in the background well no **** sherlock it happens at every club . I called him Judas when he left but then mellowed a bit . Well Hecky your a first class ****** you ought to get a job as a spin doctor. Call yourself a fan ?
Sorry, you’re miles off the mark here. The statement expressed the shock and disappointment felt not only without the club but within it. But, it also praised him and thanked him. No doubts if the club had issued a bland corporate statement you’d have said nonsense like Orsenkhat about the club having no soul or other such piffle
I read it earlier today and I honestly can’t be arsed hearing what he has to say. All the months listening to him when he was here thinking that he was talking sense and it was basically pure bs. I’ll be glad when Saturday is done (and we pick up the 3 points of course) and he’s looking for a new job come May/June. As for him outgrowing the job here, I’ve got to say that the performances and results really didn’t justify this.
Venture capitalists don’t invest out of sentiment they invest to make money. We definitely lose something by not having a local owner but life has moved on.
Still hecky applied for every going even when our local owner was here. I know he can do no wrong in some people's eyes but he talks *****.
But the same local owner some people slated on here. I agree with you they will only put money in for a return but can' have it both ways unfortunately. Patrick may well be missed as our owner by his critics on here one day.
Whilst it may be correct, where is your proof of Hecky applying for "every" job (I presume you mean) going? Do you have copies of his job applications? Or admittances from him or anyone else on video as to where he applied? Just wondering like......
