Well after four mins of him singing Marching On Together, pumping his fist and showing off his LUFC badge tattoo, he said the following:

    - Barnsley were out of order with what they said, possibly to save face (but he doesnt want to talk about it)

    - The game will be scrappy and he wants to beat us. But at same time he wants us to stay up and thinks we will.

    - That he wished he couldve got McBurnie over the line in Aug but didnt happen. That of course he admires him (but wouldnt be drawn on whether hes a summer target or not).

My view for what its worth!
Lots of things go off at every footy club and lies and bs are standard.
Hecky spoke out during his tenure ....about most things...recruiring the fact was having to negotiate contracts for players 5 mins b4 a game etc there was the debacle of morsy (lets not go there) and how we managed to make an offer for a player ....to their fan club!!
All very amateurish...paul loved the club and at times it was and is a labour of love for him....at the time of his move to leeds ....i suspected he was trying to get out......he did his best ....with the tools he had but now he has moved to bigger more proffesional club who just happen to pay more.
It hurts when our club is criticised...there will be many truths in his accusations im sure...but its "all part of it" sure he has done some himself...it is the football world.
He obviously thinks he is worth the chance of a bigger better run club.....time will tell.
Lets move on....oh and get 3 points from our rivsls...our club moves on as does he.

Disappointed in him over that. The dignified behaviour is to keep quiet and not have a childish rant at the press. Regardless of the clubs behaviour they have to express disappointment - whether they are pleased he went or really not happy. Hecky should just move on and concentrate on his current job - though I welcome the motivational speech he has just given our players.
I hope we win on Saturday and if that gets him sacked - that's unfortunate but he is going to be sacked by them sometime in the next few months anyway

Spot on, any question about him leaving should just be batted away with something like.
"I'm just concentrating on the job I have to do now"

Hecky left Cos he thought he was better then the club. He applied for numerous jobs. Hence why he didn’t say he wasn’t interested, but fed the fans the lines that he did speak
About speculation. Yet other managers rule themselves out of other jobs all the time. He left Cos Leeds were a big club, and earning way more money. Everyone wants to earn more money. When money is concerned there is no loyalty. He’s just trying to spin it to suggest there’s more in it than what it was. Hecky is the master of blaming other ppl.

Agree with most of that, but not the "labour of love" bit. He was well paid to do a job - the thousands per week that most of us can only dream about.

    Quote from his Press Conference:

"I could have stayed where I was in a minor coaching role, being at a club who I supported and helping and playing my own little part, but before long I realised I wanted more than that."

Minor Coaching Role? Where does he get that from?? I thought he was in charge of the First Team ffs.

The minor coaching role refers to when he was academy coach under LJ.

For the sake of all that's Holy LET IT/HIM drop .We had a bad side led by a poor manager with poor back room staff and very poor results....
I have noticed a change in attitude if not so much a change in results .On current form I don't think we need sre going down but watch this space. A lot of people at the club seem to have the idea that relegation isn't a bad thing......Believe me its a disaster waiting to happen. Having said that I would rather see us winning at the top of league 1 than loosing and drawing in this league.
We are good enough to play in the championship as I haven't seen apart from 2 maybe 3 sides be that much better than us unfortunately leeds were one of em

I wasn't offended in anything he said on fact I bet that interview has wound leeds fans up more than before, he talked about we being him with Barnsley and not we as in him with leeds. He still a Barnsley fan but he jumped before pushed and went for the money.

I wish some folk would read what i write - and not read something that they thought I had written.

    I didn’t mention Wolves.
And I don’t think we are going to do a Wolves.
IMO it’s going to be done on similar lines to what we have seen in the past.

Ok - Leeds have a bigger history and thus a bigger fan base - but that doesn’t make them a bigger club in all categories.
We have the same fan base as Burnley.
Which is the bigger club Leeds or Burnley when it comes to attracting players?

    I can’t see 1/2 million being a consideration.

I think what Hecky is referring to is Ganayes comments about the club being shocked and disappointed at Hecky leaving - when in reality Ganaye couldn’t get Heckys bags packed and thrown in to the taxi quick enough.

Well when you repeatedly refer to the cumulative wealth of the owners and suggest that big changes will take place and the playing staff will look completely different, it does suggest that you think we're going to be spending millions this summer. We won't be.

The second half of last season too. Infact he was poor for two thirds of the 18 months he managed us in the championship for and had the worst calendar year on record.

I just hope that beating Leeds tomorrow gives closure to all those that need it. Maybe then they can join those of us who don't give a toss about the bloke one way or another, and BBS can become a Hecky-free zone.

We have spent £££ millions this season.
And I think we will be spending a few more million next season.
Not vast amounts but maybe more than usual.
I’m expecting the same style of recruitment except these will be young talented FOREIGN players brought in - some of them costing more than what we are used to.

So nowt like Wolves at all.
    Not vast amounts of money.
But investment in line with what the directors said at the press conference when they first took over at the club.
