    I agree the players aren't good enough. Have since day 1 & said from day 1 (and got lambasted for it) that if we stayed up this year it would be a miracle.

    However, the point with Jose is that in those 16 games he's done lots of daft ****. Team selections & tactics a bit barmy, hanging out Mallan to dry, refusing to change his formations to suit the limited players he has etc. I reckon that with a manager who would have got us organised for the last 3 months, adding in Kieffer Moore & Oli McBurnie, we may have had enough to stop up.

    I like the fella but he's just not suited to this type of job - it was a barmy appointment in the first place & the sooner we rectify it the better (for all concerned).

    I can’t see a massive overhaul in the summer. I think people will be shocked at how little transfer activity there is barring the loans & one or two others leaving.

    We’ve signed a lot of young players on 3 & 4 year deals, the club aren’t going to want sack many of them off after just one season when in all likelihood most of them are only going to get better.

    Again the big mistake we made is having to sign so many at once. The strategy would work a lot better if you’re adding 5 or 6 to the squad each summer rather than the 15 or 16 we added last summer.

    How can we expect to make any progress as a club when we're in the same situation every summer, an that means always needing a complete squad clear out and a new rebuild.
    As for bringing in too many newbies and playing them all at once, I think thats a good point and we were just ignorant & naive in doing that and expecting it to work.

    @DusThaNoIII

    This is the best post on here for months. It echoes my opinion on Morais. If you still disagree then fair enough.
