Not read a single comment saying we need to keep Jose Morais on as head coach. Those above him must realise the feeling of the supporters after last night. A league one campaign with him at the helm. No ta. His team selections are like the bloody hokey cokey (you put a full back in you take a full back out you swap all the team and then you mess em all about thats what Jose's about)
No. Offer Mick Mccarthy a 2 game contract for 25k with a 75k bonus if he keeps us up. I genuinely think that's our best hope right now.
No. After Leeds I was still saying he should get until the end of the season but last night was the final straw for me. The players don't want to play for him, give Harsley, Bobby and Disco the last 2 games to see if they can work miracle and keep us up. Problem is Ganaye will have to come out and admit he made a complete **** up in appointing him
Yes. Decent manager whatever the reactionary drama queens incapable of logical thought on this board think. Sithi all for a bit.
I really feel for the guy but there is no evidence he is a decent manager. He may turn out to be for us or someone else but absoulety nothing to show he is yet.
I think he speaks volumes for the way our club has recruited recently......yes he has a bad bunch of players but i still believe the right appointment would have seen us avoid the drop (just). He is used to working with much better players and for that reason thought he was a bad appointment at the time ......when you have no quality...you need scrappers and work rate.....this bunch of players do not understand the bloke.
We need to keep Jose Morais on as Head Coach. I didn't see last night's disaster but from what I have seen the team have played better than under PH recently I seem to remember quite a few comments when he was first appointed to the effect that even if we had to dip into L1 temporarily we should stick with him. He needs time, whether it turns out good or not we'll have plenty of chances to make changes later if needed.
We could have given it to someone experienced like Chris Coleman , whoops ! Its all a gamble choose whoever gets the gig , you just hope to get it right
Everyone seems to be ignoring the results and performances we had before he took over and the reality that the vast majority of the teams in this division are better than us. We are paying the price for mistakes in recruitment......where quantity rather than name of the game. The squad is unbalanced and Morais has also lost his only natural defensive midfielder through injury (and he was inexperienced and inconsistent). It doesn't really matter which 11 he plays, we are not good enough at the end of the day and no manager would get any more out of them. Our previous manager's record at his new club with better players tells me we would have gone down had he stayed. I really don't know if he is a good manager or not because to me it all hinges on recruitment and building a 'team' - he hasn't had the opportunity to do that. I don't agree with his rotation but I am equally not convinced that whatever 11 he put out there would be good enough to win games at this level. We don't have the type of player we need in midfield and lack experience/nous.
