    People renewing their season tickets.
    I'm one of them.
    Can't not.
    I know I'm mental.

If you don’t support the club who will ?

Without people supporting the club it’s as good as dead.

we all know we have to be there through thin and thinner, so we are.

As simple as that. Not matter how down recent results get us, we all see the bigger picture and part with our hard earned season after season, because life without Barnsley Football Club in it, would be worse than it is with it.

When I started supporting the reds we were in the old 4th division: it was almost free to get in back then. So i remember the dark days before clarky changed everything. If you support the club (or rather the town the club represents for me) then you will do so forever, be it by buying a season ticket, paying cash a few games a season or maybe by just turning up for a couple of games. Even if you stop going the emotional attachment will seldom, if ever wane. The difference though between the dark days of 40 odd years ago and the modern era is the hyper inflated ticket prices we now have to pay to pay the players' hyper inflated wages.
How many times have i heard "ar much!!" over the course of this season?
Think a lot of people are dissilusioned with the obscenity and clinical nature of modern football. There are many many reasons why people choose not to regularly follow their team anymore, the majority justifiable. I would't castigate any of the afore-mentioned for as i said at the start, it was a lot easier to follow your team when it cost pennies to get in and the world was a much much smaller place.

Done ours just now, reasoning being I am quite calm and optimistic tonight. Tomorrow I will have the pitchfork out and my sack the board banner and be saying I am never going again. Until August LOL.

Get your ticket renewed. It’s your duty. Seen worse than this lot back in the 1960s. We are a giant in the game compared to those days.
