Make sure you have a big glass of water before bed, it will help to alleviate your hangover symptoms in the morning.

Neither. Thus far he has been very poor. There’s no point pretending otherwise but tonight we should just enjoy the win.

He’s been ***** in the main.

He got it right today and deserves credit for that. I’ve given the credit elsewhere. Doesn’t mean anyone who has criticised was wrong to do so, it is after all one game. But we were excellent today, well done to all including the manager.

Have a pint of water and a multivitamin before sleep northy. You’ll be much better for it in the morning.

I'm no hater I think We have had 2 managers who have failed to get the best out of the players and both had abit of a mare this season. I just hope jose can turn it round and we survive. Assess the situation after next sunday. Job only half done.lets not get carried away.

So after this game are our players still useless and not good enough? Or have we just played a top 10 team off the pitch?

I'm not a Jose hater. I'm not a Jose rater either. But yesterday was fantastic from start to finish. More of the same please next weekend.

Still don't think he's the right man for the job but I'm behind him for another 90 minutes.

No witch hunt.. his record is and has been poor. His win ratio was was a magnificent 20%.. he'll have been here for a third of the season next week 15 games,
He has won three.. to keep his record intact.. well done.
Maybe if we stay up it's actually dispite Jose medaling and not because

Will he be here next season.. I hope not up or down.

I don't think anyone hates Jose. I hate Hecky for being a two faced lovely person & dropping the club in it.
The club made a punt on an overseas manager, who has not achieved the results up to now with the team.
He pulled off a result yesterday to leave us in with a chance on the final day. I'm pleased about that & i'm happy for him.
We'll see what happens next week, We still have a very difficult fixture vs Derby, Bolton have a home game versus
Forest, but seem to be on the slide, Burton seem to have hit a vein of form, but also have a difficult away game.
I hope that he keeps an unchanged side & that Bolton & Burton lose & we do something we haven't done under his tenure, (& only once this season) and win back to back league games. If we do that he will have achieved his objective & we'll all be happy.

I don't believe either manager has been good enough to make us competitive and stay in the league any easier than our current predicament. Hecky had the luxury of 3 transfer windows to do it and jumped ship after looking for an out. Worst possible time, worst possible situation for any manager to follow on from. Had the audacity to say we were out of order to be surprised when he left days after signing a new contract. Jose doesn't look like he has the knowledge of this league or what it takes to keep Hecky's team up. He has come in with his ideas and we may never know what his skills in the transfer market bring. If we go down maybe we need a new start with the coaching / management team. However we gave ourselves a chance yesterday. Both managers have a part to play in our predicament, for me heck has had the biggest contribution, yet we have to accept Jose hasn't shown anything to do better.

I'll admit I've been critical of Jose but I don't hate him. He seems a nice fella but I'm doubtful he's what we need that's all. I still am despite yesterday, one swallow doesn't make a summer.
That aside, credit where credits due....we were magnificent yesterday.

I totally agree 100 percent there's only one person to blame for Barnsleys demise, HECKINGBOTTOM, and all you weirdos that cant see that, then i'm afraid your knowledge of football is very very limited. HECKINGBOTTOM gets my vote for worst manager ever, and that's taking into account the fact that hes played for us managed us and eventually ****'d us. Barnsley born and bred, Barnslry through and through, knows the fans, knows the tarn, knows the community, HE KNOWS **** ALL. my opinion anyway

Not really, we were more effective than them in the final third and fully deserved to win - but we haven’t played them off the pitch.

I’d be surprised if we had much more than 35% possession. Yes they didn’t do much with it but it’s not true we played them off the park.
