Shame then when a player cares about the club and still has the talent hammill does to perform in league 1 we should be doing all we can to keep him.

No that's not what I mean. My understanding is the contract extension is in his favour, not the clubs. If he wants to stay he will stay. Probably the club is happy to see him leave given he's one of the biggest earners. I'd love to see him stay but if he's had good offers from abroad he needs to make a decision. Don't think he has yet.

Fair enough I get you now. Still hoping he stays but I think he will go after watching him at fulltime today

He was good as Luke Skywalker but he hasn't really done much since.

    Tough choice.

Hammill is gone. Yes - he was committed to the team, but he milked the whole thing tbh. Coming over to the fans when the rest of the team were on the plane to Benidorm....typical Scouse rubbish. Sentimental rubbish.

Bit harsh. One of few players who seemed to give a **** this season. I really think Barnsley has meant a lot to him, with the great run he had as a youngster, only to go on his misadventure to Wolves & Hudds. He was a cracking player before he left.

Although people wanting him in some kind of managerial role want their bumps felt. I can tell you from personal experience he’s not a bright lad.

I don't think saying a last goodbye to the fans after leaving a club he's played 200 games for us is milking it tbh, neither do I think many professional footballers will be hanging out in Benidorm this summer

Both retired a few years back. Vicky was diagnosed with cancer and hung up her flags. Her daughter quit around the same time.
Managed to see her ‘magic show’ in 2013. Not a pretty sight, looking at a 70 year old women’s saggy arse.
