I reckon the new owners' masterplan, was to be relegated and subsequently reduce revenues and then buy the Queen's Ground (**** hole) to add to their global leisure portfolio. FFS. Why do Barnsley people attach any commercial value to the land around Oakwell?
I employ 30 people in Leeds city centre. I've just opened an office at 524 Broadway in New York. We have people in Singapore, Sydney, Rotterdam, and Zurich. I am a capitalist.
You seem angry 'Glenn'. I was merely defending myself against this accusation (of yours). "You sound like a hard left remain voter you utter splash fart". By definition, I can't be "hard left" yet capitalist simultaneously. Do you disagree, 'Glenn'?
Cant blame the owners one bit. they took over with a crap team in place, a manager desperate to leave and were dropped in it. yes perhaps jose wasnt the best choice, but I would be curious to know what options they had and who was interested. I dont believe jose was the first choice. cant win with some of our fans. we have owners passionate about the club and willing to invest and build. I love pat. but we would never had a chance to compete or progress. we would have continued to sell out best assests, live on a super tight budget and never had a chance to progress. as a club apart form fa cup semi, 3 play off finals (one loss, two victories) we have struggled league wise for most of the time since after the 2000 lost to ipswich.
