next manager, some of the comments make me smile...

for ages its been lamented that we need a bloke who knows the lower leagues and the kind of players that are within it... Grayson comes available he has a very decent record... but oh no he plays boring football... The lads at Lincoln have been suggested but oh no not them, despite their fantastic record. So who do we think we can attract, in reality. By the way I am not suggesting that names I have mentioned are the ones either. I just wonder who do you think will be attracted to us.

Whoever comes in just has to win football matches, get us promoted, and play scintillating football. It’s simple.

 

I agree with you. The club needs stabilising and someone like Grayson would be ideal in the short to medium term. I wouldn't like him here long term though..

 

agreed , long term maybe not. But He is the sort of manager we should look out for... just like Cardiff did with Colin.

Then managed to take Bradford from 6th to 11th in league one.

 

Grayson has just turned a top 6 Bradford team into a relegation form team. We already have that kind of stability.

 

No Jack Ross, no Danny Cowley, definitely no Rosler or McCall and no Jaap Stam FFS, Big Mick and only Big Mick. If that **** Ganaye (who should have resigned at full time against Derby) doesn’t go all out for Mick then he can **** off. Knowing us we’ll end up with somebody from the South African Premier Division that lovely person has heard of. Spend some money and show some intent you tossers!!!

Frustration. Been a whirlwind week and I just want to see us actually show some intent for a change.

 

There is far more to it than just our CEO though.

We need to bring in an experienced football director and then the owners need to trust him and GG to make the right decisions. Let GG concentrate on the off pitch running of the club.

I’m not sure of the level of knowledge our directors have, but it’s becoming far clearer how we ended up with Morais in charge, and why he stayed in charge. If Conway, Grace, Chien etc all get a vote on our next manager then I agree - we could well end up with another bizarre manager. Hopefully that painful lesson has been learnt.

 

Let’s hope the lesson was learned because the club has gone backwards since the utopia of 2015/16. I don’t doubt the board have big things planned for our club but they need to be giving us reasons to be excited because so far, it’s been quite a farce.
