Seems to have a major issue with Barnsley on the whole and I’m sure he’s one of the spotters at away games. If it is indeed him, then yep he’s a total bellend and was giving it large to a few of our supporters at Newcastle on final day of 2016/17.

He absolutely should not be allowed to work at Banrlsey games given his attitude and obvious prejudices. This having come out couldn serve to incite trouble if he were to be seen

Or in Barnsley full stop, or South Yorkshire Police. Clearly shown he’s prejudiced against people of the area.

Not a very bright think to do on his part though all things considered. Probably claim that his account was hacked next.

Yeah, that's pretty funny. To be a policeman you need a C in English, nowt else. As a result it often attracts people who are a bit thick and can't resist the opportunity to throw their weight around and act superior, like this ****.

Hopefully he loses his job and never gets to police again, so all his years of training have gone to waste. Scum.

I do think people are getting a bit too worked up about an obvious wind up merchant. The biggest problem I see is that he believes he's Funny, whilst the evidence indicates he's not. He's clearly a ***** but the way some on here are frothing at the mouth.......

At the end of the day he’s made some childish unoriginal comments to try and win a few pals. The boys just a bit silly.

Oh, childish, unoriginal is it. I wonder what the reaction would be if a serving police officer had made the same derogatory remarks about the LGBT community or a minority racial group, Asian for example?? It is offensive, even discriminatory to use the terms he has put in open view about the people of Barnsley!
Why do you think the remarks have been removed from the social media platform?

Yep, he treated a group of people as an homogeneous entity. Assigning certain characteristics to them. But it was a joke.

Compare & contrast with some other police forces actively encouraging people to report 'hate speech' - including jokes.

His job carries with it a responsibility to behave correctly at all times. Just like when I was teaching I couldn’t have posted a ‘joke’ about my class being thick or whatever and expected to get away with it. He’s bringing his employers into disrepute which is a sackable offence. People in the public service have standards to uphold at all times.

I’ve been watching the Reds since 1997 and haven’t once encountered police brutality, hostility or a member of the force ‘trying’ to get my friends or I ‘sent down’ as I’ve seen from various individuals on Twitter.

It must be the company that I keep as I can’t think of one single situation in circa 20 years following the Reds where I’ve even been in danger of a talking to let alone a banning order.

I’d like to see the dolls head lose his job too but more for the lazy comedy. It’s a pet hate of mine. Just another one hiding
behind the uniform as far as I’m concerned.

It's going back a fair bit now Map but in my time watching the reds I've never stepped out of line or so much as given a pc a dirty look.
In that time I've been bitten by a police dog on a train platform because there was no room to keep away from it....
Shoved against a wall while walking to the ground at Grimsby, just a random shove at someone in a group of people doing nothing wrong....
Seen all reds fans herded into a corner of the terrace at Plymouth (again, no trouble going on) and the leashes on the dogs released to let them get in among the fans...
Seen my mate chucked out of the ground at rotherham for saying "f**king hell" along with 5000 other reds fans when Rotherham scored.
All utterly unprovoked. All the incidents are a long while back but I doubt the underlying mentality has changed.

I understand that it does occur but I’m just saying that in circa 20 years watching the Reds both home and away it hasn’t happened to us.

I’d hazard a guess that you haven’t received a banning order despite what you’ve written above either.

It’s the ones in receipt of banning orders all claiming they’ve been stitched up by this particular guy that I find strange.

Oh don't get me wrong, those engaged in hooliganism deserve the book thrown at them. Absolute scum and have, over the years contributed to a weakened game played in soulless all seater arenas with no atmosphere. Not to mention the damage done to innocent bystanders.
