Whos to say that there's nobody on here who knows.you might not want to put money on it .. because some one might and they are keeping stum...manager/ head coach awaiting to be annouced as soon as all the board can get together united front....and all that ...just be patient...enjoy the ride...lol...
Probably busy right now as they currently have zero mangers for there two clubs Nice manager Lucien Favre has asked to leave again, stepped down and left. wanted to leave last season after one year but was declined. Players sold against his wishes , and Disappointed with recruitment Word is he is going to Dortmund who will have to pay compensation By the way reading the Nice forum if you thought a few members here had issues or don’t like the new owners it’s probably best not to read there forum. It is going to be very difficult to entice or keep any decent manager and I guess players too here , if that manager or player has a choice of clubs or harbours any ambitions Let’s be honest the “only “ reason Hecky left was he was told the new plans for the club , which consisted of the old plan + extended database worldwide It was only going to end one way relegation ethier this year or next and has no upsides ambition wise for a manager or players to want to stay at the club. He knew he would end up getting the boot sooner or later , if he stayed would he be out of job now , almost certainly. The new owners won’t be offering a manager anything which would want them to come here ethier paywise or budget wise which would be the big two criteria Which is why we will end up with someone like Jose again someone struggling to get a club ,a fairly unknown who has managed lower league club or from a unfashionable league abroad Not having a go just the facts of the matter.
Worrying theory that but one I suppose I tend to agree with. The supporting masses will struggle to support this plan long term if correct. My hunch for the position is Paul Hurst.
Nice finished 8th in League 1 in France. A squad worth around £150m of talent. Yes their transfer spend was broadly net of their income. But it would be nice to spend every £ of transfer fees brought in - that would be a major step forward. Previously we used a large portion of that on running costs, and ensuring the long term future of the club. All football fans around the world moan. Like Everton fans wanting rid of Big Sam. Ipswich fans wanting rid of mick. Football fans on the whole are very fickle. When we finish 8th in the premier league we’ll still have fans on here moaning about the owners “ambition”. It’s just different levels of the same complaints.
I think it will be a foreign manager. Because we haven’t heard any news from the various media outlets. I think there would have been a leak if a manager had been approached in Britain. However - some have suggested that we may not have heard anything because the next manager may still be involved with the play offs - which may be a very valid point. So it could be someone like Paul Hurst. But I doubt it.
