......... which has resulted in a load of rubbish being posted. Although the club could help by giving us a number of updates - in a Ben Mansford sort of way. I do miss how Ben was able to sell the club to the fans.
Hey Nudger. Do you miss Ben Mansford? I’m reading between the lines of your most recent 4,372 messages and I’ve a sneaky suspicion you do. Why not just come out and say you miss him.
So Young Nudger , what exactly is the point you are trying to make with this thread ? Is it about forum members posts or the CEO ?
It’s - get off the new owners backs. But the club could and should be helping itself by giving us a bit of an update.
There’s been some nasty stuff posted on here lately. If the new owners have read these horrible posts they must be thinking what have we let ourselves into here. Give them a chance FFS !!! Much of this frustration has come about due to the delay in appointing a manager - the club could have avoided some of the nasty comments if they had made a brief press release to say what was happening. But that still doesn’t excuse some of the comments.
Everyone knows what’s happening. Surely people don’t really need to read a two line statement from the club saying that they’re pursuing Jose’s successor? I really don’t see the need for the club to provide such ludicrous updates.
If the delay means they are determined to get the right man for the job in hand, in my personal view that's fine.
Agreed, they're probably out there now interviewing Zidane's old video analyst and scouting us some more young gems like Knasmuller and Thiam let them get on with it!
Do we? I can honestly say I've no idea what's happening at the club. If the question is simply are we looking for a new manager? Then the answer is obvious but is that what people want to know? Personally the questions I'd like to see answered are as follows 1. The player identification system and constraints that the club has chosen to operate under for the last two years has seen us relegated to league one. Do you (the owners) plan on sticking with the same system or will there be changes in order to get promoted ? Does the relegation indicate a failure of the plan? 2. Without a manager in place what is the thought process behind releasing Adam hammill and who has made that decision? Is it true that we had the option to extend his contest but chose not to do that? 3. You have previously mentioned increasing the match day experience but since then nothing has really changed. Can supporters expect to see changes to the match day experience this coming season? If so what? 4. When you took a very the club the issue of ground ownership was raised and it was mentioned that you have the option to purchase the land later. Is this still in place? If so what do you expect to change which could alter your decision on the land either way?
I read this article and after going to Derby I can see why they received a gold award - our club isn’t even mentioned which considering how little is offered in terms of match day experience is no surprise. https://www.efl.com/news/2018/april...f-efl-clubs-achieve-family-excellence-status/
We have a basic fan base of around 10,000 fans & I would say we have approx 40 regular posters on this forum , therefore comments on here , whether positive or negative are hardly the official voice of the Barnsley fans as a whole & I would conclude that whilst the owners should always listen to the fans , the contributions on here are hardly going to influence the hierarchy in the way they do things
Mansford took two years to know what he was doing. Ganaye was always gonna take time to fill the role successfully and hopefully he does.
Viagra would probably be the best solution, if that fails, seek medical advice. Sorry read the thread title wrong. Apologies
