Certainly would look to this type of appointment. It is a big risk but clubs seem to be going down the route of well known ex pros now with Gerrard, Lampard etc. Good move to make too I think as the players would certainly respect them especially someone like Guti who won numerous league titles and champions league trophies. Plus players would surely want to sign for a side with someone like that in charge. Not to mention the contacts he could have to help with signings.
Haven’t we already experimented with a foreign coach that knows nothing about lower-League English football?
Football is football wherever it’s played . Same pitch dimensions same laws same amount of participants etc I suppose wenger pep etc have been shocking cos they didn’t know about the good old English game ?
