They do similar for their own games as well https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/world-cup-village-countdown-under-way/ #matchdayexperience.
This is what I was referring to a couple of weeks ago. They've got it spot on down at Bristol. As a match day experience it beats our bagpipe player, playing all the right notes but not necessarily in the right order.
360 quid season ticket too instead of 476.50 mine now which i won't be paying till i see some quality investment.
We should be doing something similar. Now is the time for this kind of thing whilst it's nearly summer and the weather is warm. Not when most of the season is played in dark and/or cold.
We can’t create a village on match days what makes you think we can do it for random World Cup days? Bristol is a city with a much larger catchment area, we would be lucky to pull 500 to a World Cup game. Love the idea & concept of a village open from 11 at all our home games ....Get this up & running and then expand for events such as the World Cup.

I’m a regular visitor to Bristol and the things they do are fantastic. You find that even non football fans turn up to the events they run and the atmosphere is electric. Would love to see us try something like this.
