    I'm interested. He was highly rated in his time here and I wondered if he'd be at the same level or drop down the pyramid. I'll be interested when it's Hecky too, for the same reason.

    It interested me. It's good to see a local lad has found work again after following Hecky to Leeds. Our players looked nowhere near as fit once he had left.

    Our players never looked fit all season of which he was present for a large part. Couldn't care less about where he's gone now tbh, he moved on and so did we. Reckon he was the chap feeding Red Army Chris little bits of info to post on here.

    Just seen that Nathan Winder has joined Barnsley College now as part of their Sports Academy. He left Ipswich in October.

    He’s certainly had a change of fortune in the last 18 months.

    Hope he does well - well respected in his field.

    Yeah, end of the day, he’s a Barnsley lad, and had been part of backroom staff for years - and was part of a successful team.

    He is also pretty respected in his field. I’d guess Ipswich didn’t work out due to distance.

    At least at Barnsley College he’s closer to home. He won’t have been on mega-bucks at Oakwell anyway, so probably not dropped a lot in salary.
