Moore’s missed sitters seem to cause concern to fans, well Raheem Sterling to you!

No but it's going to be fuller that it will be this season. We can only spend our turnover on wages. They can spend their turnover and more. They are at least £6m in front of us before anything else.

I'd get shut if we get a decent offer. He's missed too many chances to be reliable and his height means that we change our style to use him as a target man with long punts aimed up to him. I could stand outside the ground and watch that. I'd rather see us play with the ball on the deck.

    Change our style?

We've spent a few recent seasons regularly banging it up for Winnall and Bradshaw to scrap for. Without hope.

The difference with Moore is that he's liable to have a decent chance of holding it up.

He's quite fast as well. We should be building around him.

Every player has his price. Moore will be really valuable to us next season and he hasnt really proved himself in the championship so its an interesting one. Not sure 6 figure bids are that exciting. Thats only any use to us if we want him off the wage bill. No doubt if someone really wants him (Rotherham?) and offers us a good 7 figure sum we will sell but I hope we dont let him go for less than £1.5 million maybe the club may even value him higher than that

Think he's the one player we have that could play the fast pressing game and did so in most of his games last season, running his blood to water to harry the opposition back four. Much quicker than people give him credit for and always likely to win a load in air. A goal or assist every other game ain't too shabby for the Championship either.

I think he'd go well for us again in L1 and with a natural goalscorer with some pace alongside him we'd be banging 'em in.

Why do we have to get rid of him cos of this so called new style of play the manager/owners are opting for. Is it all eggs in one basket or dont you want to have a back up change of style yer know a plan B or C which am sure you`ll be calling for if turns art not to work out for em.

As bare minimum we should be asking double what we paid for him so £1.5m plus add ons, although tbh I would probably ask for £2m minimum given his contract length (if we are lookibg to sell that is) . Honestly can't see Rotherham spending that sort of money on a single player. Their chairman Tony Stewart is very good at bull shi**ing the fans and telling them what they want to hear when the reality is very different. Like their last attempt in the Championship when they supposedly had the same budget as Huddersfield yet spent next to nothing and finished with a record low points total.

Surely you can see how a team in the championship with millions of additional TV revenue and significantly higher matchday income from away fans will have more money to spend than us who are only allowed to spend around 60 percent of current income.

What about existing money in the coffers, surely that’s classed as current income?

McBurnie didn’t get as many chances to score as Moore did yet scored more.

If the money is right and not part of our plans then we should sell.

Nope that doesn't count. Its a bit of a stupid system but only money raised during the coming season counts as the cap is based on turnover not bank balance. Its also reviewed during the season so could rise or fall accordingly

Then indeed it is a stupid system if clubs using accrued income from the previous season are seen as unfairly overspending. Surely this was designed to protect/ prevent clubs from being reckless for their own sakes and prevent them from gaining a major advantage like promotion because of that. Clubs that have accrued real wealth are clearly not reckless and should be able use this as they see fit.

It’s probably to harness clubs with parachute payments. Like they take any notice.

They can't spend gate receipts they're going to get in December or April this July though can they? Because they don't know what they'll receive.

They can spend the £6m tv money they're getting and we're not though.
