They must fancy their chances of going a long way in this competition. Hard to see England matching them

They looked very good, but, they were playing a Tunisia side who had to get something from this game so they weren't as defensive as against England making it an open game. Panama will probably play the same against us hopefully leaving plenty of gaps for us to exploit.
Should be a good game when we play Belgium. Looking forward to it.

They conceded twice against a team we only conceded against because of a bad ref decision. They brought on a sub who scored just once when he had enough good great chances to get a double hat trick. We should best them but happy with a draw and finish second for an easier quarter final when we get that far.

Belgium are a good team. I'd say better than us. But they were facing a Tunisian side with a completely different mindset to when they faced us. They didn't play an eleven man defence from start to finish today and got exposed cruelly.

Showed what a poor side Tunisia are, like Panama and a few others. Our media seem to be building these poor sides up to manage our expectations.

I’ve not watched the game but we should’ve scored 5 or 6 & Tunisia only had one chance against us through a penalty.

I’m not saying we’ll beat Belgium as I think they’ve got better players than us but I do think the results against Tunisia mean little considering how many chances we squandered

Tunisia left holes all over the place and gave Belgium far too much space. If we'd taken our chances against Tunisia in the first half our scoreline would have been a lot more flattering.

I certainly wouldn't fear playing Belgium.

Yeah but that's the difference. Belgium have a few who know how to score.

Kane is clinical in front of goal but the rest of our lot are not.

They're a good side but they beatable. I reckon we'll both play weakened sides next week so we won't really be able to make a judgement. If we, as a team, can be a little more clinical in front of goal then I think we would have a good chance against anyone in this tournament.

You're getting ahead of yourself there mate.

    Never assume an English victory.

I'd say there's only Kane and Stones who would get into Belgium's team. Rashford and Vardy might make the bench.

I realise that I might be sounding more than a little optimistic, probably unduly, but I haven't seen a team that have made me think 'wow' these boys are good and will take some beating.

I'm more bothered about us beating Panama.

Cant judge Belgium until we play them. Yes they are good going forward but very questionable at the back. If we play fast attacking football I can see us causing them serious problems.

Mmm... but to talk about playing "weakened sides" in the Belgium match, the day before we've played Panama is inviting trouble.

It would be if I was Gareth Southgate. Weakened is probably the wrong word anyway, they're international players, so I'll rephrase it and say a changed side. If we beat Panama of course.

They were the dark Horses to win, and have a better squad than England on paper.
