Oakwell, from the 1980/81 season (possibly against Portsmouth on the opening day).

If it is that game, wonder if by the time the picture was taken Big Trevor was sitting in the bath reading Clarkie’s letter telling him he’d been transfer listed?

Bugger! Is it the corner of the kop then? The terracing looks shallow. I was at the game I know that much. We lost.

Along similar lines, I was told the same thing in the Summer of 1996 after we'd sold Lee Butler, Charlie Bishop, Brendan O'Connell, Owen Archdeacon & Andy Payton.

I hope the lions didn't get indigestion.

Other than that, I've tried my best but I can't seem to get sad about it at all. :)

In fact, when I first saw the story it made my day. I do hope it was painful.

What a shame. I just hope the Lions left the heads so they could be mounted on the wall of their den.

This could be the future for rhino conservation. Breed more lions, train them up and let them loose round the rhinos. 24/7 guards with a healthy appetite.

There's a couple of things wrong with that picture, but I just can't put my finger on them. Here's the original... Glavin2.jpg
